Directions for use of the Ascensia Contour Microlet Next Lancing Device:
• Twist and unlock the endcap of the lancing device.
• Align the white raised mark and the black inked mark.
• Rotate the endcap dial to adjust the puncture depth.
• Gently loosen the round protective cap on the lancet but do not remove it.
• Rotate the cap 1/4 turn.
• Pull back the reset handle until the release button is raised.
• Press the lancing device firmly against the side of your finger and press the release button.
• You will hear a click when the lancet is released.
• Insert the lancet securely into the lancing device.
• Push forward to puncture the skin.
• Carefully twist off the round protective cap.
• Save the cap for disposing of the used lancet.
• Eject the lancet by sliding the ejector back.
• Remove the endcap.
• Place the saved protective cap on a flat surface and insert the lancet into it.
• Reattach the endcap and click to lock.
• Push the lancet forward into the container then slide the ejector back.
